From a young age, Matthew recognized he had a passion for design. Matthew holds a Master’s of Architecture degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where he was also awarded the Design Merit Award for his work in 2014 and 2015. His thesis focused on studying the effects of the built environment on children with Autism and how to create a therapeutic environment to aid in their mental and physical development through the use of architecture.
Matthew has also participated in multiple Architectural Field Studies broadening his knowledge of American Architecture including; Philadelphia Pennsylvania, Dallas/Fort Worth Texas, and New Orleans Louisiana. Experiencing the Architecture of various cultures and climates is one of his many personal passions.
Matthew is a hardworking, determined, and passionate young mind in the field of Architecture. He aspires to not only create buildings but to create a space where people really want to be. His desire is to make an impact on the Architecture field by designing spaces that encourage education, recovery, and therapy for the individuals it serves. When not diligently working behind a drafting table, Matthew enjoys playing music with good friends and spending time with his family. His wife Paige, his beautiful daughter, Camille, and their dog Acadia, are his strongest motivators and fill his life with joy and happiness.
