Simon Siegert, AAIA, LEED AP Studio Leader / Project Manager
The secret to Simon's success is his unwavering positivity and it's hard, if not impossible, to question the infectious attitude he brings into the office every day. Long before stepping foot through the doors of Watts Didier, Simon was stepping foot into water-skis. He was a member of the Colombian National Water-Ski Team for twelve years and is a Colombian water-ski record holder, 1997 World Games record holder, and the 2012 and current Pan-American Region jump champion and record holder.
In addition to a multitude of water-ski trophies in his possession, Simon has also accumulated several architectural honors. At the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Simon was the winner of the Design Excellence Award in 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001 and he has recently served as the President-Elect of the American Institute of Architects Associates Committee in Baton Rouge, LA. Simon has also been a part of several design award winning projects throughout his career. Simon is an active member of the Florida Gulf Coast AIA and community infancy development through sports.
His results are to be admired but his approach is one that should be emulated. Simon is a passionate, hard-working leader and understands the importance of interacting with those affected by the projects he works on. Simon's personal goal is to help build relationships, not just buildings.
